I agree it that a RBOC company could buy QWST. I think a RBOC company has the advantage of being located in the US and synergies would be greater than BTY buying them. There should be greater cost savings and consolidation than an international company coming in. However, BTY does have $9 billion in CASH so I'm not sure that rational valuation prevails. It may simply be who wants it more without regards to price. It could be an insane price like $70 if it happens. The stock is starting to act real well and people are recognizing the huge potential.
