RE: <<At this time, YHOO smells just like PressTek. I will crash just like PresTek. Hype and promise can only carry you so far.>>

Good day all, from a bemused lurker. Here's what I don't get: Who's buying these internet stocks, especially at these prices? I read the threads and everyone is talking about this stock will crash and that one will die and on and on, but obviously a lot of people are buying, and buying bigtime. So who is it? How much institutional buying is there, or has the "odd-lot" crowd taken over? And are these experienced investors out to make a fast buck and get out before they get burned, or newbies who will be left holding the bag when the crash does come?

Everyone is calling these stocks "momentum" plays. I think we've gone beyond that and are now in outright "pyramid scheme" land. Eventually, as most people know, these stocks will crash. But for now, I guess it's too tempting for some people to try to snatch some gains before that happens. I'm just trying to decide whether to buy those nose-bleed expensive puts or just go long on the dips. Either way, insomnia will be the most likely outcome.
