TI's executive speeches often give clues to where the company's headed. The most recent is not exception: ti.com I suspect it'll take the Street another 9 to 12 months to figure out what's driving the chip market is not PCs but communications. I especially like McGarity's comment: It seems that just about anybody who can rub two pieces of silicon together is calling themselves a DSP company nowadays. But it takes much more than that to be a true digital signal processing solutions company. How well we know. Pat
