BIOMF: I just logged on so I don't know if this has been tossed around yet. Normally does about 45K in volume. Was slugging along having traded 2,600 shares at 2 1/4 after lunch when it absolutely exploded. Traded in excess of 800,000 shares during remainded of day and ran up over 3 a couple of times. Daytraders were taking profits at the very end, keeping it from going even higher. A couple of the daytrader forums were touting rumors about a cancer fighting/preventing vaccine. No formal news, but obviously there were a considerable number of believers/speculators given the fact that the volume was about 15X normal. Since the action did not get going until well after lunch, I wondered whether it was a topic of discussion on this thread. Looks like it may be a good momentum play with limited downside. Any thoughts?
