The article in the San Jose Mercury, cited a few posts back, referred to an $8M private placement in May and then a second small placement announced a few days ago.

The way the article was written, these appeared to be two different things.

Can somebody set me straight on this:

I had the impression from the wording of the May 15 announcement that the eight million equity line was not yet finalized. Since there were no further announcements or SEC filings, I assumed the deal folded and was replaced by the smaller, more recent one. But this newspaper story left me unsure.

Did the eight million deal actually take place?
