Ok now, where should I begin Mr. Roger

Steven Rogers:
I like opening up the computer every morning and finding out what these stocks are doing - not just what the stock is worth.

Goldbug guru:^
Rule #1 never fall in love with your stock. If you do, that's when the company will do a big one on you whether you like it or not. The best thing to do is take your profit and run.

Steven Rogers:
A stock is not a piece of paper. It's a piece of a company which, if you buy the right ones, produces goods or services and generates revenue.

Goldbug Guru:^^
Rule #2 An investors should always think a stock is a worthless piece of paper. A stock is only worth psychologically what people is willing pay at a specific period. For instance, Philip Morris is a stock that use to have a hefty price tag; now only worth $40 on the NYSE. Mo is a solid company with a good track record of giving investors a return of more than 10% every year.
Why is it down so much?? because a stock is a worthless piece of paper. As the years goes by, so does the price of your stocks. That's why I tell you to buy gold when the "time" is right. That's right, "TIMING IS EVERYTHING".

Steven Rogers:
The thought of buying something that sits in a vault and only increases in value when everything else falls apart bores the hell out of me

Goldbug Guru:^^^
Rule #3 money is everything, doesn't matter what you buy if it makes you lots of money then that's the right sector to be in. eg.internet stocks

Steven Rogers:
Do you think Dell, Lucent, IBM, will disappear?

Goldbug Guru:^^^^
Rule #4 Anything is possible in the stock market, It might not totally disappear but it can lose 50% to 80% of its value. eg. Cendant

For Asia, there's really not much to talk about. Where Asia goes from here is all up to the Dow Jones. Those US guys is going to fix the market a few more times and then the roller coaster ride will begin.
U watch the movie deep impact when one of the smaller asteroid hits NY and wiped out the whole manhatten. That was the oct97 mini crash. There's still one more asteroid heading our way and that's the destructive one, powerful enough to kill the dow.
