I have been watching this thread for some months and am surprised at the little interest shown in the Aussie shares.

I was in for all I could spare when 1/3 of Telstra was floated late last year. Having seen how well BT and Telecom NZ went I had waited impatiently for years for the Telstra public float. What a success. Issue price here was A$1.95 and yesterday it hit $4.40.

With an increasing likelihood that the present Oz government will be thrown out at the next election probably later this year and the commitment by the Labour Party not to allow any further sell off of the Commonwealth's 2/3 share, I believe Telstra will reach $5.50(TLSPP around $70) before the major market correction.
Some wonderful buying opportunities on the ASX at the moment and they will get better in the next 3 months.
What about MIM,ABC,PDP,WPL,AUD,BTY ?

Regards
Juan
