Basically, stockdetective is part of a larger organization- Axcess, I believe, that is in bed with one or more MMs. They are accused of taking short positions in stocks with these MMs, then trashing stocks in order to cover their positions. There has been a large amount of talk about this on Joe Copia's and the Dog House threads. I was in 2 of these stocks, and it isn't pretty. When stockdetective picks a stock for destruction, it is swift and complete. I saw one go from 9 to 2, then another go from 1.50 to .63. Both had been stable at their prices for a considerable period of time...then the stockdetective arrived.
