cheryl -
I don't post SPAM or undocumented opinions, my references are third party independent research. My goal is not to hype MSFT, CPQ, SUNW or any other company, but to provide and exchange information which will be of use to investors on this thread. Your ad hominum arguments do nothing to advance that purpose.

So you concede that the Enterprise 450 is a superior machine

Quite to the contrary, I think the UE450 is an 'also ran' copycat machine which has no particular advantage in competitive features and is overpriced.

and that you don't have any documentation backing up your claims about the sales figures of the Proliant, or its price comparison

cheryl, both mozek and I have posted data and references from IDC and the TPC council to support both sales and cost numbers. On those measures the UE450 is about 2 times the cost of the proliant machines for the TPC configurations, and sales are about 1/20 of the directly comparable CPQ machines. You are the one posting 'documentation' from the Sun PR department. Who do you think you are fooling?

Since I'm not in the habit of wasting my own time repeating myself,
and seeing how you don't have anything useful to bring to the debate,
this will be my final communication with you.

As long as you continue to post incorrect or misleading information I will continue to respond with documentation from reputable sources to correct your assertions. I don't much care if you 'communicate' with me or not. I would welcome a serious discussion of Sun's position in the market related to Microsoft's strategy, which might actually be of value to MSFT investors, but so far I have not seen any interest in your part in either real research or an open discussion of the relative positions of these companies and the potential impact on MSFT stock price.
