You may have identified one of the weaknesses of our health-care system (although exagerated), but let me clear up a widely broadcast and completely incorrect statement that your Replublican Party seems to like beating to death. We Canadians LOVE!! our health-care system! I cannot over-emphasize this statement. In fact we love it so much that we want it put into our constitution so that it cannot be weakened by cuts. Unlike the disaster in the American Health-care system, every Canadian Citizen is assured complete medical coverage - regardless of wealth and past health problems. We don't have to worry about being denied access to top medical care because our insurance company won't cover us, or becaue we cant afford coverage, or because previous conditions exempt us. Your system is so bad that Hollywood has made several movies about it. I can say that the same is not true in Canada. We get a lot of US media coverage (in fact as much as you Americans) and we watched all your past health-care debates and just shake our heads. I would not change health-care systems with you if you paid me $1million. Our system may not be perfect but its far closer to perfection than the US system. PS - I hate to tell you but we are now able to get more and more US medical services covered by our system to solve the problem you mentioned. So we can have our cake and eat it too. But with that being said, lets just leave it at that. You all will never understand how bad your health-care is until you experience our health-care. And, this board is about MSFT and the computer industry - not health-care. Lets agree to disagree. Cheers Nasdaq! Toy
