Carl,
At least re-evaluate your position in Intel. Plant closings, the Pentium II and Celeron aren't selling as well as they had hoped and AMD is producing A LOT of chips...not to say they will make a lot of money on them but they are really pumping out the chips and the demand is there. As the article suggests...this trend is not yet evident in the retail box industry as much as it is in the component vendors...
K6-2 prices are even firming...despite the increase in yields and
output.
The Xeon will help but Intel is dying a slow death in the mid to lower end...The next nail iwill be the Cyrix MXi then PCOAC.
