Alex, does your ADSL modem tie up your phone line? In other words, can you still receive phone calls while operating your ADSL modem? I understand that ADSL utilizes the bandwidth above 4 KHz, thus allowing normal operation of your telephone. If so, this is a very significant advantage from the way CAWS would configure its wireless Internet service since CAWS would still rely on a phone line for its uplink. The prospect for a wireless uplink is still years away.
