<< And what about the Worker's Comp arrangement that Ira said would generate huge
savings and which he said was one of the key reasons for the Myriad acquisition?
Ira said at one point that the way to make $ in employee leasing is to cut the costs
for the Worker's Comp, and that this was the clever strategy behind the Myriad
purchase. >>

Workman's Comp will be a hard place to save money since Myraid is in California. Remember, if you get fired in California, you are elgible for Workman's comp because of the trauma you received from your job for being fired.

In addition, claims that even the states consider fraud cost $1 BILLION per year in California. Any cut in the workman's comp costs by Ira was naive talk from a non-Californian.

The network of lawyers and doctors willing to help collect Workman's comp is a well-oiled machine in California. Basically, the state has "unionized" all the workers.
