Vasu, You are drawing the wrong indications from HTCH. First of all,
good for them and their long-suffering shareholders. But it has
nothing to do with business sales. It has everything to do with
Toshiba, Sony, Hitachi, and Fujitsu entering the pc market last quarter
in the US. Guess what, they need components on those pcs. Wow, what
a concept. -g- HTCH and Intel and all component makers are just too
far down on the food chain to know anything about pc sales, which is
what their CEO said on CNBC today. It was Joe Battleaxia who made this
jump in convuluted logic, and he is a bullish pimp from day one.
What new product? DRAM is old. A commodity. MU has handled this
price decline well?!!! By losing a lot of money and stopping fab
construction and defaulting on their loan agreements? Trend is what
you bet against, as that is where the herd is. And I am not talking
about today or yesterday in the market. My attention span is much
longer than that and this is a single digit stock, no matter what kind
of blips the tulip buyers make short term. Good luck, MB |
