Allen, I am curious about your wife's upgraded Mac with a G3 chip.
Where did you get it from, did you do it yourself, how much did it
cost, and can it be done with a Quadra 840AV midtower system which has
a 68040 chip not a Power PC chip? I am considering sticking with Mac
if I can upgrade cheaply. Otherwise, Pentium-land I go.

I have been ignoring this thread for some time since Rock-the-Crock
started talking with himself (that is his inner self) Vanni-the-Fanni.
But what a charge to come back here and see Sheila and others launch
into them with gusto. What a transformation. Still, none of this
means a hill of beans as far as the stock performance goes. We are
just drifting, and listing, and itching, and scratching. Clueless
as a cucumber.

Buy the way, anyone interested in good deals on the internet, I bought
two 17" monitors at dirt cheap prices via an auction site called:
goingonce.net
They have computer stuff, especially monitors and cheap computers
for sale by auctions which close on a certain date and time.
If you have the high bid in when it closes, you get it. Both have
been high quality and very cheap compared to any online or retail or
used outlet. One was a graphic quality Goldstar Studioworks with .26
dot pitch, ($278) the other a MagInnovision ($194). They usually only
have 1 or a few of anything.
