Hi Wiseowl!

I have no patience for losing money. I don't mind it when a stock stays flat, or has a normal pullback, but I get really bugged by the ones that go down.

I hate to lose money. It really bothers me when a stock I buy moves against me. I can't stand even looking at it on my screen. I just sell. I wait for any bounce and get out. I don't even care if the stock does an amazing recovery within the next 3 months (most likely it will not!); I just take it right off my screen and move on.

I do get some advantage from this. 1) I get a tax loss. 2) I can also buy the stock back if I want, after at least one month (tax loss rule), and typically the price of the stock will have fallen even more by then. 3) I get to put my money to work in a new stock, and hopefully better my situation!

Good luck with your new thread. Perhaps we should come here when our stocks take a hit, and say what we will do about it. It could be helpful to others.

Good Trading,

E!
