DJ: Thinkology a Big Hit With Teachers and Parents; Heartsoft, Inc. to Develop
3 Additional Thinkology CD-ROMs

TULSA, Okla., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Heartsoft, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:
HTSF) announced today that based upon the response from educators and
parents to the company's newest critical thinking skills product Thinkology,
released in April, 1998, it has begun development on 3 additional titles
under the Thinkology label, bringing the total product line offering to 6
titles.
"The release of Thinkology marked the introduction of the first
comprehensive critical thinking skills software for Pre-kindergarten thru
3rd grade early learning students," said Benjamin Shell, Heartsoft Chairman
and Chief Executive Officer. "As teachers, parents, and district
administrators view the Thinkology Guided Tour, a comprehensive introductory
CD-ROM which provides a video quality presentation on Thinkology with fully
functional excerpts directly from the product, they are responding with
highest praise regarding how well students are responding to the new
product's approach to teaching critical thinking skills.
"Over the last few years, many products have been sold to parents and
educators under the premise of teaching genuine critical thinking skills.
However, the feed back which we are receiving directly from consumers in
both the Home and School markets is that Thinkology is the first product of
its kind to actually impart critical thinking and higher order reasoning
skills to early learning students. The results from nearly all who
participated in the preliminary Thinkology pilot program announced earlier
this Spring are more than just promising. Teachers and parents alike are
indicating that they are seeing immediate improvements in their children's
communication skills, and perhaps more importantly, in school work."
Thinkology, which was released as a 3 CD-ROM series less than 90 days ago,
is composed of the 3 titles, Clarity, Accuracy, and Logic, and is rapidly
becoming a household name to Teachers.
The company plans to release a home version of Thinkology before the end of
the year, and is currently seeking, as well as discussing with potential
partners, strategic joint venture opportunities.
Scheduled for release in early 1999, the additional 3 Thinkology titles
currently under development will allow the company to offer to its school
customers an encompassing critical thinking skills solution with 6 CD-ROMs
total for an approximate price of $2,000 per primary building. There are
over 100,000 public and private elementary school buildings within the U.S.
alone.
The company also plans to distribute Thinkology worldwide to international
markets as recently denoted by the visit and very high interest level in the
company and its products by such people as Obid Mlaba, Mayor of Durban,
South Africa, who visited Heartsoft on July 6, 1998, to discuss the use of
Thinkology in South Africa's school townships.
Heartsoft, Inc. publishes, and distributes a diverse line of multi-media
curriculum-based products for schools and parents nationwide. Headquartered
in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Heartsoft is acknowledged among educators as the
price-vs- performance leader -- delivering such product classics as the
Heartsoft Bestseller and its new release Thinkology with unsurpassed
customer service and customer loyalty. The company's stock is traded on the
OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol "HTSF". Heartsoft's web sites are
located at heartsoft.com and thinkology.com.
