Intel controls AMD's future based on chip pricing, period! Intel is sacrificing short-term profit for guarenteed long-term dominance.

I think you are right on. Jerry said Intel would never sacrifice profits and couldn't compete with AMD on price. But even Jerry must realize now that Intel can get very aggressive on price.

You mentioned earlier that nobody would probably buy AMD with its deteriorating outlook. Your post made a lot of sense. But where do you see AMD going? If AMD can't show a plan for profits, then the commercial banks funding its debt will start to get very concerned.

This can't continue for much longer? Right? But I suppose as long as Jerry gets paid then it will continue.
