Gregor,

I know a couple who adopted a child when he was very young, but in his adolescence he had become such a disciplinary problem that the couple put him in a group home. I was in conversation at dinner with some friends when his name came up and I know my friends didn't mean it -- but they made it sound like he was a hopeless case. The boy's name is John. Please pray with me that his heart can be touched especially by the love of God in the coming days and weeks.

During the conversation with my friends I was struck with concern about the relationship between me and my own son -- who is 3 1/2 but very intelligent for his own age (perhaps everyone thinks this, but ...). He is easily frustrated as of late. My heart's desire is for him to know God and also to know that I love him unconditionally as well. Please pray for us both.

I know this sounds really needy of me, but I also ask prayers for a current work project. I have to assess the usefulness of a larger sum of money that has been spent -- after the fact. I feel inadequate for the job, but I must do it. Time is running out and I need to make a good decision concerning the matter. PLease pray for me -- that God will grant me wisdom.

I will add Scott to my list. Thanks for starting this thread.

God bless you,
Tippet
