<The street will realize this tomorrow and we will see a build up in positive volume.>

Im still for some of those next day clears myself but the black candle yesterday surprised me a little.

<1) LU makes stock bid for WSTL to commence in October. Deal gets announced Aug 3>

This one is what I have in mind & others probably wouldn't want to jump in and play ball @ that point but below happens as they need Wstl solutions also.

<Alcatel makes bid for Westell. The timing fits with announcement of DSC buyout. Alcatel won't jepordize not getting into the region with just DSC. Westell is that insurance policy for their multi-billion dollar investment. LU responds.>

<3) The third suitor is NEC America. Westell follows Benton. The deal gets announced on Aug 3. NEC Stock transaction involving American ADRs.>

Now Ill have to hand it to ya here Eric. Wouldn't that rock the ADSL world. Hey, maybe Nec could make a cap/dmt/vdsl mahompa. <G>

Fujitsu as an outside consideration

CS ain't gonna make it w/ Ariel but probably don't know it

Pair sittin on some cash gets a WSTL/AMTX type screwing in the process. :}

Coms sure ain't saying much. They are more likely to go after AWRE as a means to secure a standard. Kinda says something of the old Amati joust.

Nortel if customers get burned w/ CDSL
