About the Holy Spirit. God forbid if I get in over my head but I'm going to take a swim in the surf on the north shore of Hawaii, without a surf board.
I witnessed to a man for 3 years, from 1993 to 1996, to no avail. I was so "annoyed" at his stubbornness that I prayed about the situation and I felt the Lord was telling me to just hang it up; tell the man that the Spirit was "close" to withdrawing from him and that if the Holy Spirit ever did it would be impossible to find salvation. So I did tell him that and have not spoken to the man since.
Well praise the Lord. He came to my home church Sunday while I was out of town and accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit was just getting warmed up while I was totally exhausted.
The Holy Spirit is known as Comforter, Teacher, Caller, Companion, Wisdom, Planner, Powerful, Almighty, Healer, Presence, Interpreter, Peace Speaker and on and on.
You have already met Him. ! When you Know Him as your personal indwelling comforter and peace giver and joy maker it is my hope and prayer that He invite you in for the big plunge on the north shore during the winter time when the waves are 30 foot tall. In Christ.gregor |
