Just so that ya'll are aware that we ARE getting some help from "Bob" at SI. I've been complaining about the harassing posts from the temps and, well.....

Thanks for pointing that one out to me! I'd deleted one of his messages earlier and
banned the account, but didn't catch the other two messages. I think I had to deal with
about 10 such accounts so far today. Because I anticipated such a problem with these
particular threads (now, why would I anticipate that? <g>), I was already reading
many of the trial-member posts. And participants such as yourself and others have
pointed out ones I might've otherwise missed.

In a way, I'm very, very glad that Brad put in a new feature to allow certain threads to
become off-limit to trial members, but in another way, I was getting a kind of twisted
enjoyment out of knowing that with a couple of mouse-clicks, I was negating far more
work on the harrassers' part.

It's almost unfair. <g> They have to create a bogus email address somewhere, create
their bogus SI account by going through all the screens, typing in the email address,
later typing in the 4-digit code, then write their messages. I, on the other hand, have
only to click the "Delete" button, click their name, then click the "Ban" button.

Reminds me of a game I play with my 9-year old daughter where she says something
over and over again, such as "Can we go for a motorcycle ride now?" and my
response (over and over again) is "nope". Even she eventually figures out she's putting
more effort into a futile cause than I am. :)

In short, to use a local colloquialism, we're "all over it", so hopefully people will wait a
bit to see if we've run across one of the problems before inundating Jill and myself with
email.

Regards,

SI Admin (Bob)
