This might explain the recent action Merrill boosts Network Appliance Data storage manufacturer Network Appliance (NTAP) rose 10.1 percent after Merrill Lynch made some positive comments about the company. Analyst Steven Milunovich believes the company is on track to meet its July quarter earnings estimate of 18 cents a share. Network Appliance rose 3 7/8 to 42 3/8.
