CRoWN would be worth much more than book value because of the name recognition. They could "do and EggHead" and announce that they were folding all of the physical retail operations, relocating the biz to a low cost city (EGGS now centered in Spokane after closing down Seattle), and going completely to an on-line internet sales model. Like EGGS, the stock would likely soar. If I were an existing e-commerce company looking to get into the book business with high name recognition value, Crown would be well worth considering.
