Pat, I have flight simulator too. Do you have the cities? My computer was too slow so I could never get anywhere, so I took it off my machine. Besides all the crash landings, I gave up. I even crashed taking off. Yes there is chess, you play against other people real time. A clock, the whole thing. If you see amoncada, he's working on championship rankings. How well do you play? Not that rocky, just not as much boring gain that you're use to.
