I think the earnings warning may prove disasterous. EPS of $0.09-$0.10 are well below consensus estimates of $0.22 and 30% below last year's number. The reasons for the shortfall are not encouraging. "...fewer than normal weather-related insurance claims" was one excuse. Seems to me there's been lots of disasterous weather lately. The CEO also said that they "do not expect to completely recapture [lost engagements] during the second half." To me it seems the company is desparately making acquisitions to stay afloat. I think the worst might still lie ahead. Maybe the open won't be so bad tomorrow since some might view the acquisitions as good news. But I'm afraid this stock will be in the single digits very soon...
