We addressed this issue with a securities lawyer, and were told "if that person was aware of the hazards of the insider trading laws," (IE MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT VIOLATE THESE LAWS like any other BoD member.)
It could work, as long as this person under stood the potential for major problems.

You may be right, it could be asking for trouble, Like everything else would the risks out weigh the benefits? Very tough question to answer.

Then again that is why I am asking for some impartial opinions <LOL>
