Conspiracy? Well, if you subscribe to Agent Mulder's beliefs - absolutely. However, Agent Scully makes a compelling argument that a logical explanation can be found given adequate resources and diligence.

I tend to side with Scully....... except when I don't.

A former COBOL programmer who never expected his code to be running beyond 1999 and left numerous development programs and phantom databases in the bowels of untold severs. But, that's somebody else's problem now. :-)
