Jay (and thread),

I'm playing the Gorilla Game in my own small way with ITWO. I think of all the stocks mentioned in the book it is the best gorilla candidate. SI and Yahoo both have good (mostly non-polluted) threads on most of the Gorilla Game stocks.

I'm playing this Gorilla game with a very small amount (@5%) of my portfolio for now, and am going to learn how to deal with the wild swings in these kinds of stocks. I'm definitely going to follow the book's recommendation of regular, measured buys and sells at specified time intervals unless the story changes dramatically. A lesson for a "gut check" might be to look at what happened the past week or two to one of the gorilla game stocks Vantive VNTV. It's dropped about half its value. I know this could happen to ITWO also, and am not willing to devote large chunks of money at any point in time right now.

I've also opened a small position in an aging gorilla, Oracle ORCL. I buy the book's argument that aging gorillas greater staying power than most people expect, and feel like the company is caught up in excessive negativity for the moment.
