Some food for thought.

Vivus was trading at 20+ back in the fall of 1996. At the time MUSE did not have FDA approval and Vivus had no product sales income. Since that time we have had $129,000,000.00 in product sales in 1997, international approvals, Alibra in phase III trials, a new manufacturing facility and hopefully at least one other new product on its way. Now we have a stock that is over 76% off its 52 week high and still probably well over 1/2 the float held in short positions. We see garbage like ZONA go from 40 to 13 and back to 40 on no substance yet Vivus has yet to make any "realistic" comeback.

IMO Vivus is still a joke at 10. Maybe some institutions are starting to see Vivus on their radar screens now that we broke up significantly through our 50 day ma. The 200 day ma is now at about 16. If we break through that then more buyers may very well come in to take advantage of this technical indicator. The next 2 days should be interesting.
