Here is some "interesting info." thestreet.com The shoes continue to drop -- all over Michael Schonberg's head. [A shareholder lawsuit was filed today against Schonberg and Dreyfus Funds.] Filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan against the fund family as well, the complaint alleges that Schonberg personally profited by making "aggressive purchases for the Funds in companies in which [he] had personally acquired an interest," says the complaint. * * * The complaint also alleges that Dreyfus "failed to disclose or misrepresented facts regarding the non-existent 'growth' potential of many of the companies invested in by the Funds," as well as the "self-dealing transactions" of Schonberg. Business Week also has a story on Schonberg, indicating the FBI is also investigating him. businessweek.com
