>> IDA announced today that it has secured $1.25 million in financing from the Bank of Montreal Capital Corporation (BOM)
What justifies this investment???? Past performance???? Certainly NOT!!!!!!!
>> and an additional $250,000 from Capital Alliance Ventures (CAV)
These guys must have the 'in for a penny, in for a pound' mentality ... or else they're just plain foolish
>> $.35 per common share.
Heck, we can't even get much above THAT price.........
>> IDC, which has been established since 1984, is an internationally recognized leader in the satellite broadcasting industry.
On who's authority? (Their Own - No Doubt)
>> The Corporation has a proven reputation for
Take Your Pick -
A. Losing Money B. Providing Minus Returns on Investment C. Lack of Sales D. All of the above (& more)
>> Mr. K.C. Lim of the BOM, stated that ''Our investment in IDC demonstrates our confidence in their strategy, technology and business plan.
What business plan? Have you seen it? I certainly haven't... What strategy? (It must be another secret as we shareholders are never informed) .....We should not assume that anything has changed
>> After conducting a thorough due diligence, Translation: Is someone getting graft?
>> we concluded that this high-tech firm has everything we look for in a company
Boy, do they have LOW Standards!
>> proven long-term performance
I'll agree with that (POOR)
>> products positioned to meet worldwide demand, Companies haven't exactly been knocking down the door with purchases (As share value indicates)
>> and a top-notch management team with a solid vision of the future and how to get there.'' Wow, lots of notches (holes) in that statement - Where did they dream up that conclusion???
>> Denzil Doyle, Chairman of the Board for CAV, stated that ''We are pleased to have the opportunity to make this additional investment. IDC has been restructured and has recently achieved a significant turnaround in its performance.
Do you see any profits? (They must also be a secret so that shareholders will not be the beneficiaries)
>> The Corporation has tremendous future growth potential and we welcome the Bank of Montreal as a new investor and as a partner.''
Are they going to use their investment as a tax write-off?
>> IDC President and CEO Ron Clifton stated, ''This investment is timely and significant for us. That is an understatement
>> Not only does it provide additional financing for working capital
Translation: We (management) can boost our pay and benefits
>> it also brings a new strategic partner into the Corporation. The BOM (MOB) brings additional strength to our Board, as well as broad international connections.
Translation : If IDA doesn't perform now, the MOB 'WILL" take over
>> The additional investment by CAV is a welcome vote of confidence for us.
Translation : CAV would have lost their investment without additionnal support to IDA (Just like the previous major shareholder)..... Do you see a pattern emerging???
I'll believe there's hope when the shares make large gains to the upside, not with IDA'S empty promises |
