US investors seemed to like Egghead's numbers. Yesterday Egghead reported on revenue growth at it's internet auction site www.surplusauction.com and the share price jumped. Total revenues (didn't see any profit figures) for their first year of operation - $28.2 million. Bid.com is projecting revenue of $ 30. million for 1998. Revenues have been increasing, and at an increasing rate. Once over-bought, now I think, over-sold. Wonder if any of the other internet players are looking at Bid.com as a potential acquisition?
