I clearly identified the numbers as being based on RDBMS license numbers. Since ODIS sells their developer licenses dearer, I would also expect higher prices for the run-time licenses. Further, the implication of the deal may have a bigger percentage than the normal 20-25% services component. Actually, my number of $.75-1M (which I clearly identified as likely to be low) was not that far off when you look at it, and clearly below the 5-10% range (which is why I wanted to give the difference in the post. Any such guess is always a guess and being within -50%/+100% is usually pretty good guessing, especially when one number (run-time pricing) is not known.

One other warning--not all of that will be booked this quarter. Much of the services and consulting will be spread over the life of the contract (anywhere from 1-5 years). The company may only be able to book a little over $1M this quarter.
