Now that SI is offering trial memberships, I have the opportunity to spout my frustrations. Frankly, I wouldn't pay 2 cents to post on these boards.
The culprit here ladies & gentlemen is not Roper, Richard, or JD. The culprit is the Alberta Stock Exchange. They are notorious for sitting around, picking their nose, while investigating companies and in the meantime screwing the shareholders. If trated in the usual manner, this file has been shuffled from desk to desk with nary a gander. They will get to it when they feel like it. To make matters worse, it is Calgary Stampede time, and Calgary literally stands still while the yahoos in the business world all go out and pretend that they are cowboys.
The deal with Safe Environment is real. The Company is real. The deal with Boeing is real, and their profits are real. What is not real, is the ASE's sincerity in trying to become a sucessful exchange.
After the debacles with Bre-X, Timbuktu, Cartaway, YBM, and others, everyone at the exchange is only concerned about covering their own butts. Cushy jobs like these are hard to get. |
