Electronic Buyer's News (2 Dec, page 8, "Semi Lead Times are Stretching Out," just hit my desk) reported extended lead times developing for linear IC suppliers. One VP from Motorola Semi stated "Demand has been pushing up over the last four to five months. Most of the linear manufacturers have been experiencing die banks and lead times going out. In some cases lead times have moved out greater than 12 weeks." This would seem to bode well for the likes of ADI, LLTC, MXIM etc. MXIM also has previously indicated that severity of inventory bubble seems to be easing.
