hmm... earnnigs should be out soon - there's typically a 10% range where the stock price trades in during this time. general mkt conditions - ORCL was trading around 41 only a couple weeks ago, so its been up 20% quick. Informix is slapping themselves on the back having convinced themselves that they have overtaken Oracle in sales with Universal SErver. Several analysts who need a stock to hype have contributed to the hype. They are promising sales to many small developers this quarter! who knows.
