Of the firms that were present, that I personally know of, they were regional firms not national. If you will stop and think about it firms like Merrill Lynch, Paine Webber and such do not solicit low priced stocks with no current revenues so they would not have a rep there. The firms that actually have brokers solicit these low priced stocks are in fact the regional firms - that is their specialty. If mother Merrill would have been represented then it would have been a waste of time.
