Hello billwot. AMD. Who did not know that. gg. But some of the other cos. are expected to do better now. I think it was Altera that is expecting better times. And Intel is starting to be favored again also. I think it was the Semi Analyst from H&Q that was making those remarks in Sun Valley, Idaho about Altera. All the biggies are having a meeting there right now. Andy Grove is present there also. Maybe some more good news will come out of there and some deals. The banking sector is doing well today. Watch 3Com. It is being touted in Germany as having the hard times behind them. It is called a good internet play along with Csco, Msft and WCOM. I guess you know that CPQ is present on the internet with Alta Vista something (not sure if I have the right name here gg) They inherited that site from DEC. The market is doing pretty well today. You are right. We are getting pretty lazy when it comes to posting. I am sure everyone checks the thread for posts but refrains from posting. There was not that much to report lately anyway. But things should be looking up for the techs soon. Asia will have to go away one of these days. Sonny
