Jane, I just read your post and I'm totally confused about what it is that you are trying to say? If I understand you correctly, you are trying to get special information by calling the company, but they won't help you. I wonder if you know what to ask?

I've had good luck speaking to General Magic, but then I have little expectation of getting the inside scoop. I had a great response yesterday. I e-mailed an officer of the company and got a response within 15 minutes. Interesting thing was the response came in a .wav file. It was great. He was speaking to me and it was obvious that he'd picked up my message from Portico and responded right away.

In this case, I was asking him about ASAT 98 which is in San Jose July 27-29. It's a special show for speech recogntion. All the big names will be there. I asked him why GMGC didn't have a booth. He said Dr. White was speaking at a special forum on the use of SR in telephoney.

You have to realize these people are trying to create a new market that has not been done before. They have to stay in balance and they have to be careful about investor law suits shoud they make projections that can't be met. It's pretty normal stuff.
