The Sourcemedia (SRCM) rumour comes from Dow Jones news retrieval. NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Shares of Source Media Inc. (SRCM) were up 16% Wednesday on marketplace talk that YahooÝ Inc. (YHOO) could announce a deal to acquire the company when it announces its second-quarter results after the close Wednesday. Rumors that YahooÝ could acquire Source Media have been circulating on Wall Street for weeks. YahooÝ declined comment, while officials at Source Media were not immediately available. Source Media's shares were recently up 3, or 16.1%, at 21 11/16 on Nasdaq volume of 1.4 million, compared with an average daily volume of 357,200.
