re: Richmond evaporator BS debunked
Hey Robert!
From your (Yahoo) post #8838...
First you quoted (from my (Yahoo) post #8816) the following...
<All Richmond equipment orders have been placed. In fact, over 50% of the equipment has been paid for. He also said that Magal would start delivering the equipment to the site next week. Rene asked, "What will Robert Pool say then...when the equipment starts arriving at the site?">
And then you stated...
<<Why the heck would he so blatantly state IN FACT OVER 50% was paid for. HELLO, IS THERE ANYBODY HOME. Come on you guys and gals. Clue in here. When the equipment starts arriving at the site then I will say KNOW IS THE TIME TO PAY FOR IT RENE, WRITE THE CHECK.>>
Is that the best you can do? You go FROM claiming that the equipment hasn't been ordered yet, TO pointing out that someone doesn't trust Rene! What a revelation!
Then you wrote:
<<March-April 1998 order date of the evaporator. This according to my B.S. information would make it a January 1999 completion date. (we shall see on this one).>>
I took the liberty of calling Mr. Axel Rosenblad of Leonardo, NJ-based Rosenblad Design Group (the main man) this morning.
Rosenblad designed and manufactured the Hamilton evaporator and is currently constructing the Richmond evaporator. I asked Mr. Rosenblad the normal turn-around time from date of order to delivery to the site for this piece of equipment. He responded that typically, a 26-30 week time frame is preferred, but IN THE CASE OF RICHMOND, ROSENBLAD IS WORKING UNDER A 20-22 WEEK TIME FRAME. He said that he thought the Richmond order was placed on May 8th and he fully expected to ship the equipment in late September. BTW, the evaporator body itself is huge- it weighs 1,005 lbs, is 13 feet in diameter and stands 55 FEET TALL!
Mr. Rosenblad also said he would be traveling to Vancouver later this week and he planned to visit the site if he had the time.
So much for your "DD", Robert.
