Thank you Coach for your comments. Silicon Investor and similar sites enable all to voice their thoughts, concerns or to spread news in order to enlighten like-minded investors. In my opinion they should not be used as a medium for spreading rumours or hearsay, possibly in order to further the trading positions the contributor might have. I hope most people share my view although it is inevitable that there will be those who may abuse this relatively new medium of communication.

With regard to Roper, specifically. Roper is undergoing a complete turnaround in it's business direction. Natural resources are depressed to say the least. We should, I believe, give Mr Watson a break for having the guts to not only recognise this but for actually doing something about it. The regulators of these markets may not always have this foresight and in doing their job may put hurdles in the way of such innovative companies. These hurdles can be overcome and are being so. Let's get behind the company in it's efforts to change direction, for all of our benefit, as shareholders. Rick Watson is working very hard to ensure that we move forward. Only the regulators, to whom he is answerable can give the OK for Roper to resume trading, so as previously suggested to some amongst us, call the exchange and apply pressure there.

Welcome, Coach, to SI. Give us some thoughts!!

Regards,

DR
