The problem is that Janet Reno and Co. are inventing new anti-trust laws as they go along -- making the behavior of the government UNPREDICTABLE. However, in this particular deal I think gov't intervention is unlikely. After all, there are bigger, richer fish to fry, Microsoft and Intel, for example.
