According to a 12/4/96 Dow Jones article, Sprint PCS' delays will occur in areas such as Kansas City, Missouri; Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; and Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sprint PCS would not specify what areas would receive service by the end of 1996. In a separate 12/4/96 Dow Jones article, it is reported that Northern Telecom attributes the delay to problems with the "support software used to monitor and identify the network's trouble spots automatically..."
