Hello Ed, It's nice to see a new face here. Sigma Designs and CUBE are competitors to a degree.. Both companies are selling mpeg2 decoder chips to OEMs to package with their dvd-rom upgrade kits. SIGM also makes a board that includes its chip which it sells to OEM dvd-rom upgrade kit makers also. CUBE doesn't make a board. Both companies compete in markets outside of the dvd-rom decoder chip/board market. CUBE has a variety of biz. lines. SIGM also makes a streaming video decoder card to be used with Microsoft's NetTheatre product which you can see info about in recent press releases. BTW, did anyone catch the fact that SIGM released this bit of news 3 times? What gives? See ya, Grant
