Christine, the reason the Native Americans should buy back their land is because they no longer own it. Very simple. Or do you propose to Annex all the Americans people's land and give it back to the Indians??

My family had NOTHING to do with the atrocities of the Indian nations. They came to this country in the 1910's and worked and bought land. Please explain to me why a Tawainese family who has become an American citizen last year, sweated and saved should give their land to the Indians. Or pay taxes so that the government should? How is the past their fault??

Real solution require more than knee jerk liberal programs.

Fact... Land once owned by the Indians is owned by other people, bought legally through the court system.

Solution. You want it back, buy it!

If the Indian people had concentrated on this premise for the last 50 years instead of looking for a miracle, they would probably own all the land they want now.

The other problem I have with your philosophy is it divides Americans into groups. The Native Americans against the Immigrants. Why do we have to divide our country this way? We are all AMERICANS. Native or not, skin color shouldn't determine what program the government creates for you. This only adds to divisiveness not togetherness.

Whom do you consider an Indian anyway? 1/16, 1/4 or 1/2 or does he or she have to be 100% of Native American blood??

It's intellectually pathetic to divide up the races this way. It only leads to divisiveness not tolerance or understanding.
