perPlexin...Zeus Machine..8Plex..Its the caddy!

I tried a different computer and a different SCSI card ( AHA 2920) and I still had the same problem. It had to be another bad drive. I took the drive, caddy and a dozen bad CD's back to the dealer. He tried it with the bad CD's and it worked. I am thinking this guy must think I am nuts. I had the caddy and asked him to try the same CD's in the caddy...Voila.

I have two caddies as both of my new drives came with caddies. I had tried both of them. It turns out that I had two defective caddies!!

Iwill responded to my email in about a day and a half. Not bad.
