I guess only certain shareholders are allowed to know what the industry/company that is being merged but not ALL shareholders.

I don't think it is fair/right for the company to disclose information to certain shareholders (that is not public knowledge) without disclosing it to all shareholders. Looks like only some of the information was communicated in the shareholder letter.

My guess is that is an 'internet company', which could be good for a run like KTEL had (only to come crashing down quickly). There are a lot of internet wanna-be's that have had runs when they include the internet in their business focus, regardless if profits won't come from several years. Geez, that kind of sounds like AMZN.
