CYTYC is promoting it's products directly to labs. They must have been printed up before the recent FDA news, but everyone already seems to have heard about the test being better. Some women are already asking to have the cytec test so the pressure is on the doctors to find out more about the test. Then the docs will probably feel obligated to switch since it decreases the false negative rate about 60%. (Current false negative rates for the old pap smear is about 25%). Hopefully, CYTYC will take advantage of this and advertise a lot.
